Mixed sweatshirt with lined hood
Very comfortable shape, raglan sleeves. Sweatshirt: hip length
NB: Cut/volume close to the Jasmin pattern: similar hip length with a little more chest width to give the hooded sweatshirt a sportswear look. As always at ikatee, it is strongly recommended not to size up (so make a 3 year old for a 3 year old child using the referenced measurement standards).
Ribbed or stretch material at the bottom of the body and cuffs.
Pockets in the side seams, front opening with buttons or snaps
Beautiful finishes: hood lining with sheath seams.
What you will learn with this pattern: Fit a tab in the raglan armhole, fit a hood lined as a sheath, fit side pockets and bands on the wrists and bottom of the body.
Material suggestions:
- Main fabric 1: sweatshirt, quilted sweatshirt, fleece, bamboo terrycloth or light jersey (to make a t-shirt or nightgown in cotton or cotton elastane
- Lining fabric 2: hood lining and opening tab, bags and pocket bases, preferably poplin or jersey or the same as the main material if it is not very thick
- Optional ribbed fabric 3: for cuffs and bottom of the body (the cuffs and bottom can also be made from the main fabric if it is stretchy enough)
